Your major is also important, any of the business programs and economics degrees cross over well into this field. If you majored in finance it will be a plus for you. All of these majors include courses in accounting and economics and business communication. These are the core elements of the job of being a claims adjuster. Becoming an insurance adjuster is not going to happen overnight, but with the right preparation you can become a giant in this industry.
