As compared to 84% of the British drivers, 78% of European drivers drive everyday so the frequency of using the car is more in British motorists than in European ones. Thus, the need of becoming more environment friendly is more to the British driver.

The British drivers are resistant to the green initiatives for the benefit of environment but if there is any financial saving then they show their interest in making the car more environment friendly. That is why, insurance providers are offering insurance products favouring environment in the car insurance supermarket along with huge discounts.

Even the insurance providers are helping in making the British drivers more environment friendly by offering car insurance product at good discount for less driving. The less driving of the British drivers will contribute towards the environment. The insurance providers are even planning to give incentives to the British motorists on reducing CO2 emissions. The well-maintained car contributes in the reduction of pollution so; the insurer will also get the benefit. If the car is maintained, the probability of getting it damaged or breakdown is less so fewer claims will be made.
